Zola’s Feasts Chicken Curry


Serves 6-8

3 Tbs olive oil
2 onions, peeled & sliced
3 Tbs chopped fresh ginger
3 Tbs chopped fresh garlic
3 Tbs Zola’s Feasts Fragrant Curry Powder
1 medium carrot, peeled & finely chopped
1 x 1.5kg whole chicken, cut into small pieces (or use chicken pieces
3 Tbs Zola’s Feasts Flavourbomb Spice Mix
Approx. 1 cup Water
4 potatoes, peeled and halved
Salt to taste


Heat oil in a pot, then add onions, ginger and garlic then sauté over medium heat until onions have softened.

Add curry powder and carrots, then sauté for another two minutes.

Add chicken and spice mix, stir then cover and allow to cook and brown for 4 minutes.

Stir occasionally to prevent burning, and add a splash of water if the spices are catching on the bottom of the pot.

Add the potatoes, season with salt, then add another splash of water.

Cover and leave to simmer gently until the potatoes are cooked through.

Once the potatoes are cooked, the chicken should be cooked through too.
