Sesame Crusted Tuna with Plum Salsa

Serves 4

For the plum salsa:

4 plums, diced

2 plum tomatoes, diced

½ red onion, finely chopped

15g fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 red chilli, finely chopped

1 lime, juiced

Salt and pepper

For the tuna:

2 Tbsp. oil

4x 150g fresh tuna steaks

3 Tbsp. Tamari (sweet soy sauce)

½ cup sesame seeds

Mix together the diced plums, tomatoes, red onion, parsley, chilli, lime juice, salt and pepper, then set aside in the fridge to chill.

Heat oil in a pan.

Brush the Tamari over the tuna, then press into the sesame seeds to coat.

Fry the tuna for one minute per side – cook it for longer if you want the tuna more well done.

Serve the hot Tuna with the chilled salsa.
