Boerewors, Cheese & Caramelised Onion Sausage Rolls
1 coil Boerewors
1 roll frozen puff pastry, defrosted
1 cup onion marmalade
1/2 cup grated cheddar
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbs sesame seeds
Cut the pastry in half lengthways.
Spoon onions onto both pastry pieces and spread out leaving a border around the edge.
Sprinkle on the cheese then top with the Boerewors.
Brush the edge with egg, then fold over to encase the filling, use a fork to crimp and seal the edge.
Cut into desired sizes then place onto a lined baking tray.
Brush each roll with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds then bake in a preheated 200c oven for 25-30 minutes until pastry is golden and the sausage is cooked through.
