Yoghurt & Herb Marinated Chicken


Serves 4

4 chicken breasts
1 Glad Large freezer bag
1 cup plain double cream yoghurt
2 Tbs chopped garlic
2 Tbs Sriracha sauce (or your favourite hot sauce)
1/2 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley, basil, coriander, mint)
Salt and pepper


Place the chicken breasts into the bag, then use a rolling pin or mallet to gently pound the chicken to flatten to an even size.

To the bag, add the yoghurt, garlic, sriracha, herbs, salt and pepper, seal the bag, then massage the bag to mix and distribute the ingredients.

Place into the fridge and leave to marinade overnight (or a minimum of 30 minutes).

Cook the chicken in a hot pan or griddle pan until golden on each side and cooked through.

Serve with a salad and extra fresh herbs sprinkled on top.
